ABOUT ME...

Life continues to reveal to me the essence of who I am.
I was named Leita after my paternal grandmother, Olita. Born and raised in South Louisiana, I planted new roots in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2002. Of all the identities I’ve embodied, the most transformative and defining has been that of a mother—a journey that continues to shape me at every level.
In 2020, as I approached 40, I experienced a profound soul calling—one deeply connected to embodiment through dance and shamanic practice. These paths became gateways to personal liberation and deep inner transformation, igniting a clear purpose within me: to hold space for others on their own journeys of awakening.
The seeker in me was drawn to immersive work with The Power Path School of Shamanism in New Mexico, where I completed their one-year Shamanic Studies Program in 2020, followed by a series of practitioner trainings, including advanced work.
With the guidance of my teachers—Lena Stevens, José Stevens, and Anna Stevens-Harrington of the Power Path—I’ve also had the honor of learning from the Wixarika (Huichol) in Mexico and the Shipibo in Peru. These indigenous traditions continue to inform my seership and support my connection to spirit, ritual, and the unseen realms.
I am a facilitator of The 360 Emergence, having completed a year-long apprenticeship in 2025 with the leadership of its founders, my teachers Kate Shela and Amber Ryan. This work has become a powerful part of my journey, allowing me to guide others into deeper embodiment and relationship with themselves—through movement, presence, and connection to the the wisdom of the body.
I walk the pathless path with open-hearted curiosity as my compass.
